A Prayer from our Bishop
/A Prayer from our Bishop Vicdavid Mbuyi Bipungu
Further to the mass shooting that has shattered the Community of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia and the murder suicide in Kitigan Zibi Anishinābeg, with a broken heart, let us stand together in faith, hope and love.
We offer our deepest condolences to those grieving. I seek from across our diocese prayers for the families of the victims of this horrific situation that is impossible to comprehend, and for the first responders. May God keep them and grant them peace. May His light surround and uphold them.
We also express our solidarity to our brothers and sisters of the diocese of Caledonia (Bishop David Lehmann) who have to keep courage and strength in proclaiming the Good News of love in such challenging context.
May the souls of the departed ones rest in peace and rise in glory. Amen.
-Bishop Victor David Mbuyi Bipungu
Amen.
Évêque Victor David Mbuyi Bipungu

Thinking About Ordination?
/Ordination Process
Ordination into Holy Orders in Christ’s Holy Catholic Church, and specifically in the Anglican Church of Canada, is a privilege not a right. Every Christian is called by God through baptism to minister by the effective use of his or her spiritual gifts in life’s context. The ordained ministry is only one of many ways in which God calls the baptized to serve Christ. To learn more about the ordained ministry, we invite you to see the brochure "The Ordained Ministry — Is It For You? ".
