This might be done following Sunday worship or during a special occasion. It also could be incorporated into the Sunday worship. This has already been done at St George's Ste Anne de Bellevue, where it was incorporated as the talk into a shortened service of Morning Prayer. Lent is a journey. During this season, Christians often like to spend more time in prayer, reading the scriptures and reflecting upon our lives. Let’s support each other during this season: join Neil Mancor for a weekly gathering of lectio, sharing and praying. Neil has created a daily journal for Lent with readings for everyday, space to record your thoughts and self-examination questions to ponder.
Purchase Neil’s Lenten Journal HERE
Wednesdays during Lent at noon and 7 pm EST (Register for link) starting February 21

Chers amis,
Many thanks, Merci beaucoup,
+Mary

The Synod Office is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk), at a place called Tio’tia:ke (Montreal), a meeting place for many First Nations, including the Haudenosaunee (Six Nation Confederacy), Anishinabeg and Algonquin peoples.
We recognize and respect the Kanien’keha:ka as the traditional stewards of the land and waters of Tio’tia:ke.
Our acknowledgement stands as a promise to continue the ongoing work of recognition and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
