Notice of Intention

On Saturday, July 25th , The Feast of St. James the Apostle and Martyr, at 2pm in the church of St. James the Apostle and Martyr in Stanbridge East, I intend to ordain The Reverend Tyson Leif Edvard Røsberg, B.A., ThB., M.A., M.Div. to the presbyterate.

On Thursday, August 6th, The Feast of The Transfiguration of the Lord, at 2pm in the church of St. John the Baptist, Pointe Claire, I intend to ordain The Reverend Geert Jan Boudewijnse, L.Th., Ph.D. to the presbyterate.

In compliance with current government health regulations in this time of pandemic, the ordinations will occur in the presence of a maximum of 10 persons from a maximum of 3 different households. Following the rubric for the ordination of a priest in the Book of Alternative Services this shall include two priests, with a lay and presbyter presenters, the bishop and the candidate. The service will be broadcast for public viewing on the Diocesan social media platforms.

Even though Pride Week is cancelled in Montreal, this won't stop the CCC Pride Service Planning Team!

We are pleased to announce that this year, our Annual Pride Service is going digital!

Christ Church Cathedral is hosting a Digital Pride Celebration on August 9th at 6 pm EST on Facebook Live and Zoom and we are inviting you to be a part of it! We are celebrating the radical inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community in our church not only during Pride month but every day of our calendar year! Please join us!
