L-A: What is the COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR and why do you participate in it? I know you have been involved for several years now.

P.W: Yes. This will be the third year the "St. Matthias' Beer Saints" have participated in the walk and the second year that St. Matthias' have hosted it.
CNOY is a national walk-a-thon that raises money for charities that serve the homeless. Volunteers have the option of walking 2, 5, or 10 km, and we walk in the cold and dark - a small taste of what the homeless experience on a daily basis.
Funds raised at the downtown CNOY walk will go to St-James Drop-In Centre, an important organization that St. Matthias' Church - Église Saint-Matthias, Westmount, Québec with which provides, among other things, much-needed community and support to the homeless and marginalized in Montreal.

L-A: How can we help?
