Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF)
The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund is the Canadian Anglican agency for development, relief, refugees, and justice.
PWRDF is active in approximately 30 countries, with partners drawn from Anglican churches, ecumenical organizations, and community-based groups. PWRDF supports people-centred development that improves the quality of daily life for vulnerable populations, promotes self-reliance, and addresses root causes of poverty and injustice.
Our work is bound together in three strategic themes:
Weaving a Culture of Peace with Justice
Building a Moral Economy and
Accompanying Communities in Crisis.
PWRDF strives to be a part of the outreach ministry of every Canadian Anglican parish and an expression for all Anglicans of their baptismal covenant to strive for justice and peace and to respect the dignity of every human being.
The national PWRDF has additional materials and information available here
We serve as an educational resource to all parishes, and assist parish representatives in a variety of tasks. Need help? Call or write to us through the Programme Office, or email us at email@example.com
Whether you are a PWRDF parish representative or simply interested in the topics listed, please join us. Events are held in Fulford Hall at Cathedral Place, 1444 Union, Montreal, unless otherwise noted.
Noon-hour presentations are designed to fit into your lunch hour. The first hour focuses on the theme,
the remaining time focuses on discussion, planning, or review of materials available from PWRDF. Light
snacks provided; you are welcome to bring your lunch.
